Okay, well not really. I didn't really cook something combining mushrooms and grapes. That would be adventurous of me though, wouldn't it? Ace, that's your next challenge: make me a recipe including both mushrooms and grapes. :DIn any event, I did a bit more cookbook testing this afternoon, and I thought I'd post the results:
Wild Rice Mushroom Soup w/ Vermouth
Peanut Butter Shortbread w/ Concord Grape Sorbet
Both recipes were wonderfully good. Joy {the cookbook author} is so wonderfully creative. I feel so privileged to be testing for her book.
